Abstract:

Gastroenteritis are the second main reason of the infant mortality. Africa being the continent more touched by this mortality. It exists more than 150 species viral pathogenic incriminated in the infant mortality caused by gastroenteritis. The main viral infection reason being the lack of hygiene. Beyond the recommendation of adequate hygiene, the vaccination is the important means of prevention for these infections. In Côte d''Ivoire, authorities of health put the accent on the second means of prevention to know the vaccination. Despite vaccination against the poliomyelitis, we suppose the circulation of the wild Poliovirus in the precarious district. Of this fact, it imposed to us, the research of Poliovirus can exist to " Boribana " and at children of this district. 210 samples of stools of children of 3 months to 5 years apparently healthy and 150 samples of water of their environment have been analyzed before and after the National Days of vaccination. The study of the management dirt to " Boribana" indicates the extension of its pollution toward other sites. It reveals the propagation of infections caused by miroorganismeses that exist in this district. Study of the Poliovirus in samples of child stools reveals the presence of vaccinal Polioviruses solely. The analysis of water samples indicates Coxsackievirus B to 67% at the taking site " Boribana gutter ", to 33% at the of taking site " Boribana lagoon " its absence at the taking site CIAPOL lagoon. The isolation of Poliovirus vaccinal, confirm the wild Poliovirus absence in our middle of study. This result permits to put in evidence the interest of the VPO (Vaccin Poliovirus Oral) and the JNV (National Journey of Vaccination) organized in Côte d''Ivoire that must be maintained.
